Online conference co-organized by the SPECTRA Research Group and the CUB

Our online academic event titled „International experiences, expectations and cooperation related to hate crimes” originally planned for April 2020 was postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic and was successfully at an online platform on 5 October 2020. The conference featured 12 presentations in three panels on topics such as the Yugoslav ethnic conflicts and wars, the interpretation of hate crimes in international context, and certain aspects of hate speech.  

The online conference provided an excellent opportunity for academic discussion during the epidemic and, thanks to the large and active audience, for the vivid discussion after the presentations.
