Hate speech and hate crime in the EU
The European Parliament's LIBE Committee has asked Petra Bárd to prepare a scientific background material on hate speech and hate crimes to support European Union legislation and pan-European action against bias crimes. 

Petra Bárd's monograph co-authored with Judit Bayer entitled “Hate speech and hate crime in the EU and the evaluation of online content regulation approaches” was published in July 2020. SPECTRA Researchers Erik Uszkiewicz and Tamás Dombos contributed to the study as national Experts.
